Why I love One Piece!

It’s One Piece Month with Luffy’s transformation of Gear 5 in the anime earlier this month and tomorrow it ends with the first episode of the One Piece live action on netflix!

So with that, let’s talk about my love for the series as it goes back a few years, to the year 2009!

I always remember when I got into One Piece because I found the anime when it was in the Sabaody Archipelago arc in the anime and this scene was on everyone’s mind,

So from then I just had to hunt down the manga to find out what all of this meant and why people were going crazy over it!

It took awhile to catch up to manga and been reading it every week when it becomes available since then so I knew about Luffy’s gear 5 transformation a year ago and why I am so hyped to see it in the anime because it’s amazing!

I didn’t catch up to the anime til the series got to the Punk Hazard arc I believe.

I started a job at Debenhams when One Piece entered at the Dressrosa arc in the manga which went on for around 3 years (had to look this up and was surprised because I always thought it was longer than that!

When I went to Japan before 2019 ahead of my transition, one of the places I just had to visit was One Piece Tokyo tower, I wouldn’t be a One Piece fan if I didn’t go there! Only thing I don’t like about the pictures I took is that my hair is a mess :’)

If I had to do a manga ranking of all the series I have read so far in my life, One Piece just has to be No.1, Wandering Son shares the no.1 spot but mainly because of personal reasons but One Piece is the true king.

I have so many good memories of reading the One Piece manga, all of the different emotions I went through, Oda the creator, is just a god when it comes to manga!

Seeing Luffy go Gear 5 in the anime was amazing, really loved the animatiion!

With that I will end the post, thanks for reading!

P.s Best girl in One Piece is Robin in my opinion!
