Tales Of Meg Q&A!

The title speaks for itself on this one, as I wanted to get some questions from you amazing people for me to answer 🙂

What is your favourite anime film?

Let’s start this Q&A off with a hard one, because I have watched a lot of anime as of late (be it series or films).

I have to go with the same answer as yours, Howls Moving Castle was the film I cherish seeing with someone special to me when I was in school.

The only thing with Studio Ghibli films I am a bit meh on, is that the character designs in a few of them look very similar.

What is your favourite director?

Never really thought about directors before, so I will go with the first one that comes to mind.

That being with Edgar Wright with Scott Pilgrim vs the world (I know I should say the Cornetto trilogy but love this film just a bit more)

What first introduced you to anime?

Oh I have to give multiple answers for this, as I really can’t think that far back to say 100% what really first introduced me to anime

  • Maybe it was Pokemon, given by how big it was growing up, which then got me to hunt down manga aka Trigun (this then helped me look for the anime, still need to get around to watching the reboot, Trigun was the first series I collected in full, before selling it all because I needed the money).
  • Maybe it was Howls Moving Castle as I can always remember seeing that at the cinema.

Have you ever streamed (twitch, facebook etc) your art and gaming or considered it?

Yes both art and gaming.

Gaming wise, I did have a twitch/youtube channel for when I play on Final Fantasy 14 online. Only thing I have left over is a game of Jeopardy I played with my raiding buddies a few months back.

Art wise, I have streamed a few times on Facebook as Bonfirecherry, you can find it here (as I can’t for some reason, embed it to this post)

Will you be continuing Bonfirecherry?

In short, only for commissions for custom work as the spark I had for Bonfirecherry before was mainly because I didn’t have a full time job, which I have now got which keeps me busy but I will be up for doing custom work.

Bonfirecherry will never die completely. I am still Bonfirecherry after all.

What’s next for your art? Will we see a Bonfirecherry or will you take a new direction?

See what I have said above, mainly custom work but I might end up doing some new designs to sell via my social media when I get the inspiration, such as when I go back to Japan next year, I am sure to bring tons of sketchbooks with me!

Bonfirecherry will still make its appearances while I am doing Tales Of Meg as I know there is a few that want Bonfirecherry to come back, but sadly it won’t be how it was before.
