Hello all.

While I am waiting after I have submitted some manuscripts to a long list of possible literary agents, and getting stuff ready for my first ever book fair on Saturday, I thought why not write a new blog post.

I know you can’t really improve on the first impression, especially as I did get The Trip Between the Two published by a publisher and I announced it online for people to see.

BUT

I honestly can’t accept what happened from April this year as acceptable, those who I signed with (who I have now separated from, somehow still disappointing me post rights reversion. Edit: A few hours after posting this post, finally got sorted) hooked me with promises, which were nothing.

A blog post & 3 social media posts? Wow that’s just great. I am pissed off with them, then and even now. I just want to rant in this post & hopefully in the next few days they can finally sort out the last 2 things I tasked them to do, then I can block them from my mind.

While I am happy I did get a book published, I wanted to do it to help those in a similar situation to me also those who want to understand what someone like me went through, but the press I used didn’t really get it. Now reading the bio for TTBTT, something else should have been written up, but went along with it as they knew more about the book world than me.

I feel like what the first few months were, it was like a small foot print in the sand with the tide coming back in to wash it away, with only me and the few people who purchased the book can remember what the foot print even looked like.

I want to do a new foot print, that will stay and leave an impression for such a long time and I want someone who actually cares about the story I’m trying to bring, alongside me to give me advice. I’ve been in the print world (sadly unsuccessful mind you, it was a good small business mind you) for a decade and now going into the book world, there is so much to learn.

I want to use the mess of a launch of TTBTT to my advantage, it’s why I spent 2-3 frustrating months to get my rights back, made the changes that people told me it needed & gave it a new name “Between Us, There Is a Wish” to separate the two but still be able to use it. I did think of a second edition for a few weeks, but a slight re-imagine will be best to avoid confusion with those who want to support my work.

I don’t really know how to add this post, mainly wanted to vent & explain more about why I’m doing the re-imagine etc.
