Hello again everyone, I wasn’t expecting to have a new post a day after the one and it’s some very good news for the first time in months.
I’m thrilled to share that after going through some absolutely frustrating months — I have officially regained all rights to my debut novel, The Trip Between the Two!
This means that, very soon, the book will be removed from sale on retailer websites and I will have complete control over its future. It’s been a long process to get here, but I’m so grateful for your patience and support while I worked to make this happen (thank you to SoA for their support).
For now, I’ll continue to offer personally signed copies via my website and at book fairs.
As I wasn’t sure of its future, I have mentioned a second edition, a re-imagined version of TTBTT or a completely new story.
Honestly with how much I’ve updated the manuscript from my debut with new chapters, new characters, grammar/spelling corrections and a tiny bit of plot restructure I could go with a second edition of The Trip Between the Two or a completely new name.
At this time, I’m half way through finalising the manuscript so I will wait until I finish to decide on the name before submitting to literacy agents who will give my story the love it’s needed all along.
What do you think I should do? Comment below.
Megan
