Hello everyone, I know by the title of this post that you must be wondering what the hell I’m talking about, let me explain.

This post is inspired by all things fantasy, be it final fantasy 14 where I play an elf like race called the elezen with my character Meg Vhuh (pictured), isekai anime/manga to anything with a fantasy vibe.

I started to play Final Fantasy 14 online around the time I started my transition and after trying out the different races they had to choose from, the female elf just stayed me as she is tall like me, pointy facial features like me but she didn’t have a belly which I’ve got.

It was like playing a dream version of myself, it has kind of helped me stay motivated with my transition in a way that is hard to explain.

Only in looks I am like a female elf, when it comes to everything else like this bit of lore from the game “The Elezen are a proud people who value discipline and order above all, and are naturally adept at collaborative effort” I am not like them in that way.

If my life was like an anime/manga and I got hit by a truck on a way to work, I hope to wake up in another world as one for sure!

This post was also inspired by Frieren, a recent new anime from the fantasy genre where the main character is an elf who has lived for many years but doesn’t look like it. I can sympathise as I get told I look younger than I am.
