I have mentioned Bonfirecherry a few times in recent posts, but decided to do a new post talking about it.

By if Bonfirecherry returns could mean 2 different things for me, as I’ve counted Bonfirecherry as my creative personality when it comes to art and Bonfirecherry the small business.

Creative personality wise, Bonfirecherry did disappear for awhile as I was lacking anything to get my creativity out on, it’s why I have been focusing a lot on The Trip Between the Two as I really want my first story in about 20 years a really good one (I did write a story when I was like 14/15 based on the .hack games but didn’t really make sense and full of grammar mistakes.

I’m hoping 20 years later I can do a better job writing a story, this time I’ve realised there is so much to think about while writing such as lore/describing characters & things, a lot to take in.

When it comes to prints, I did produce some cool prints for Matchbox Cafe a few months ago, so not like I haven’t done any printmaking since May as that’s when I swapped from Bonfirecherry to Tales of Meg. I do want to do print work in the new year, I just need to decide on what I want to do.

Now when it comes to Bonfirecherry as a small business, sorry it’s not coming back. I rarely made money from it when I was running it for 10 years (really only at Christmas fairs that I actually made a good amount of funds eg good enough to cover the cost of the stall). I’m glad it helped me create so many creative friends who I am still connected with now, the whole point of Bonfirecherry was to help due to at the time I worked part time which 2013, this changed a few years ago when I finally started to do full time hours at a place I really like working at.

Nowadays I am busy with work, gym, final fantasy xiv and writing, it’s where I could fit Bonfirecherry in all of that.

So in short, Bonfirecherry my creative personality will never die, but the small business won’t be coming back.
