Howdy all!
If you have been following my social media for awhile, you may know I have been talking about a certain event the past few weeks and that was.. Kupocon!
A great event for those who like Final Fantasy aka someone like me 🙂
While I am still on the Kupo high, let’s talk about my time at this wonderful event.
Well to start off with, I went to this event last year but by myself, while it was enjoyable, without someone with you I left after awhile
So this time around I went with one of my best friends, so we can do the whole day.
I did have a few mishaps (all 100% my fault), the first was going to the event dressed up like this, should have got changed when I got there haha
I made sure to have some pictures with other ffxiv cosplayers when I arrived. I am annoyed with myself for getting changed early because my wig was a mess and my robe ended up getting stained due to sweat etc (TMI, sorry!).
I paid for a Titan ticket for Kupocon which involved me getting a tote bag, mog book and a t-shirt (will show later)
The mog book was a great thing to have to keep yourself busy throughout the day with my friend, trying to do as much of the quests as possible to get some gil (event only currency).
Me and my friend spent so much time on the quests that we didn’t take much pictures with the tons of cosplayers that were around and there was so much good ones that I regret not taking pictures with them!
I want to add here, someone who is transgender, it was great seeing other people like me there because this whole thing is about loving Final Fantasy, what you are has nothing to do with it!
We also didn’t see the guests aka the voice actors of Final Fantasy 14, 7, 10 & 16 (alongside Kingsglaive) til towards end of the day where the lines were a tad long but it was worth it 🙂

Something that made me happy was gaining more signatures for my Endwalker vinyl, I got a lot of signatures the last time I was at Kupo. There was 2 signatures that were available at this event but I was short on cash & didn’t have my bank card so was only able to get 1, maybe next time for the missing person!
There was a way to get that missing signature and that was buying a signature/selfie bundle for the ffxiv cast which I bought last time, this time I accidentally bought the bundle for everyone else that I shared with my friend (she went for Zack and Clive). This was my second blunder, but again 100% my fault. Let’s just say it was a blonde moment.
That was it for the main event, there was the after party to look forward to next!
I wasn’t able to do the after party last time I was here,so really wanted to go this time around and I did!
There were a lot of the VA’s “hidden” (well some were) within the night event, I met one of them I wasn’t able to get a pic & signature with earlier in the day.
I even met someone I used to chat with online which was a surprise, kept bumping them throughout the night haha
I’ve got so many videos from the evening, so will only show a few above!
It was such a great way to end the day, which was a long one as I was up since 3am on that but was too busy to get tired.
The last blunder of the event was that, I forgot to buy the community day ticket as me and my friend really wanted to go. Lesson learnt for next time!
Now I am back home, I have set up a Kupocon self on my new bookcase, what do you think?
Kupocon comes to Birmingham next year, as much as I want to go and I really do.
I can’t.
I am going to Japan late next year but my friend is likely going to go, so maybe she can help me get the last few signatures for my endwalker vinyl *fingers crossed* (for sure, I’m going to add the Final Fantasy cafe while I am there, got a post why I love Japan and why I want to go back here)
Overall, Kupocon was amazing, the only blunders are 100% my fault so can’t blame the event whatsoever.
If you love Final Fantasy, you gotta check Kupocon out!
I can say that Kupocon is different to an event like MCM comic con, there is more of a community feel which I love and why I had come back again!
With that, I think that is the end of the post, if you went to Kupocon too, please comment down below on how it went for you 🙂
Thanks for reading.
